Angel Dust

Supplies needed.
Font of choice for your name.
I am using Kingthings Wrote
Tube of  choice.
I am using one by KatNKDA called Angel Dust and have chosen the one with the cloud.
Not to be used without an AMI license
White Christmas kit by Bits N Bobs at AMI
I have used the following items from the above kit...
Element 1, Element 6, Element 15, Element 20,
Alien skin xenofex2 (free demo available).
This tutorial was written in PSP 9

Note
Open all the supplies in paintshop except the font.
Double click on your font and minimize.
Open a new transparent image 500x500 at 72 dpi

1. Copy element 1, paste as a new layer onto your new image.

2. Re-size your tube to 250 pixels high.
Copy and paste as a new layer.

3. Copy element 15 and paste as a new layer.

4. Re-size element 20 to 380 pixels high, copy.
Activate layer 2 ( the one below your tube ), paste as a new  layer.

5. Re-size element 15 to 300 pixels high, copy, paste as a new layer.
Layers/ arrange/ move down.

6. Add a drop shadow to each layer using the settings below.
V 2, H 2, O 35, Blur 5.00
Colour black, OK.

7. Activate your top layer.
Add a new raster layer and add all copyright info.

Note:
For animation move straight onto step 8.
If you don't wish to animate then layers/ merge visible, export as transparent png and save.

8. Activate your sparkle layer ( Mine is layer 5 )
Press shift and D twice. You will now have 3 files.
On the first one effects/  plugins/  alien skin xenofex 2 , use settings as in screen shot.
On the second one effects/  plugins/  alien skin xenofex 2 , use settings as in screen shot above but hit random seed button .

9. Activate your tube layer.
Use your magic wand set at 0 tolerance, antialias off and select any spots you want to sparkle on your tube.
( I have chosen to sparkle her feather halo )
Effects/  plugins/  alien skin xenofex 2 , use settings as in screen shot.
Selections/ none, Layers/ merge/ merge all ( flatten ).
File/ save as,  image 1 to your desktop
Repeat this step on your other 2 images saving them as image 2 and image 3.

10. Open animation shop.
File/ animation wizard then follow the screen shots clicking next after each one.
On the add image part browse to where you saved your files and add them all, click next then finish.
View/ animation then file/save as.

 
 
 

11. Create your name in paintshop as normal, copy the file and paste as a new animation into animation shop.
Copy the name in animation shop, activate your animation, edit/ select all, edit/ paste into selected frame and then file/save as.
